Esther Ling bridges the intimacy of solo storytelling with the depth of choral writing by crafting upbeat, meaningful songs that invite children choirs to sing with joy and confidence.

Her debut children's song, "Cheeky Wind", was the winning song of the 2025 Grande Prairie Boys Choir Songwriting Competition, and was premiered by the junior boys choir in Grande Prairie, AB.
As an associate composer with the Canadian Music Centre (CMC), she has since collaborated and published commissioned pieces by children choirs in Alberta.
She continues to write modern music for children choirs to sing and grow her portfolio in choral music.
