Esther Ling bridges the intimacy of solo storytelling with the depth of choral writing by crafting catchy, modern songs that invite children choirs to sing stories of childhood with joy and confidence.

Her debut children's song, "Cheeky Wind", was the winning song of the 2025 Grande Prairie Boys Choir Songwriting Competition, and was premiered by the junior boys choir in Grande Prairie, AB.
As an associate composer with the Canadian Music Centre (CMC), she has since collaborated and published commissioned pieces by children choirs in Alberta.
She continues to write modern music for young voices and grow her portfolio in choral music.
