Married Life (Canon in D intro)

As a wedding pianist, this is one of the most popular requests by wedding couples for their ceremony music. I was inspired by real love stories to create this with an improvised Canon in D intro that leads into "Married Life", the theme song from the motion picture, Pixar's "Up". It is extended version with variations on the theme to capture the feeling of a little love story, a gentle musical reflection of two people beginning their life together.

 

A suitable recital or learning piece for early to mid intermediate piano students!
