The information we collect

We collect information about you from different places including:

  • from a third party acting on your behalf, i.e. an agent

  • from publicly available sources

  • when we generate it ourselves

  • from other organizations

We'll only collect your information in line with relevant regulations and law, and this may relate to any of our products or services you apply for, currently hold or have held in the past. You are responsible form making sure you give us accurate and up to date information. If you provide information for another person (you must have obtained that person's consent to both disclose, and the processing of that personal data in accordance with the privacy notice), you'll need to tell them how to find the Privacy Notice and make sure they agree to us using their information for the purposes set out in it. 

Disclosing personal data

We only disclose your personal data in ways set out in this Privacy Notice or subject to any agreements in place between us:

  1. to third parties who process personal data on our behalf, such as systems providers

  2. to third parties who process personal data on their own behalf but provide us, or you, with a service on behalf of us.

  3. to third parties with whom information is shared for money laundering checks, and other fraud and crime prevention purposes

  4. to any regulator , external auditor or applicable body or court where we are required to do so by law or regulation or as part of any investigation.
