Louder Than Before
"...We're gonna sing, sing, sing! Louder than before!..."
(for senior choir, advanced level, SA with piano)
"Louder Than Before" is a pop-inspired, uplifting and energetic song that explores themes of identity, confidence, and sisterhood; stronger together as one voice, and singing in harmony.
This song is an advanced level SA piece that takes on a pop song format, which features a key change in the choruses, extensive vocal harmonies, and staccato singing technique. It is a blend of traditional and pop-style singing techniques; all to create a varied, different, and fun song for choristers to sing their hearts out to.
Guaranteed to bring about an uplifting mood in your program!
This song was commissioned and premiered by the Grande Prairie Girls Chorus on 2 May 2026 at the "FLIGHT" concert in Grande Prairie, AB.
“My request? An anthem. We are here. We have a voice. We are loud… this song is exactly that — bold and joyful!”
